Liebster Award

I was given the Liebster Award by the lovely Susan from Fashionabli Yours (check out her blog here: http://fashionabliyours.blogspot.ca/)

I did some research on this award and apparently it originated in Germany and has been around since 2010. It is basically given out to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. 

So lets get started! Rules:
1. Say 11 things about yourself
2. Answer the 11 questions the nominating blogger asked you
3. Ask 11 questions to the bloggers you will nominate
4. Nominate 11 new bloggers
5. Make sure you notify the bloggers you nominate

Well then here are 11 things about myself:
1. My all-time favourite perfume is Baby Rose Jeans by Versace simply because it is the first perfume I ever had (same as Lady Gaga!).
2. I'm currently a student in college.
3. I love reading. Some of my favourite books: Harry Potter, Narnia, Hunger Games
4. I'm a right hander but I wear watches on my right wrist.
5. I'm severely short-sighted and am blind as a bat without my contacts/glasses.
6. I am currently obsessed with the singer Birdy (her songs are amazing).
7. I've never experienced snow in my life.
8. I'm not a fan of Starbucks.
9. I'm a huge fan of the TV shows HIMYM, Vampire Diaries, Glee, Modern Family, and the list goes on.
10. I've never been outside of Asia before.
11. I do not like animated shows/movies.

1. What is your favorite makeup brand?
I don't really have one; I like trying out different stuff from different places.
2. Do you have any pets and if so what kind and what are their names?
I don't have any pets right now but I'll love to get a lil' puppy someday.
3. Who is your fashion icon/inspiration?
Some of my style inspirations: Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Dita Von Teese
4. What is one of your fashion faux pas / pet peeves?
I don't believe that fashion has any rules but maybe...wearing tights as pants.
5. Who is your favorite singer / genre of music?
I love Birdy and Lana Del Rey, and I am open to a wide range of music.
6. If you could buy anything you wanted, what would be your first purchase?
A giant mansion.
7. What is your favorite movie?
I can't possibly choose one.
8. What is one fact that not many people know about you?
I think I can sing quite well, haha (my mum majored in music and was a singer back in her heyday).
9. Labels or Love? (Sex and the City Reference ;) )
No idea since I did not watch SATC.
10. If you could visit any city in the world, which would it be?
Right now, Venice, since its sinking.
11. Team Edward or Team Jacob? Or Other???
I am indifferent towards Twilight.
